The Opportunity Overview
Midwestern State University is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Executive Director of Development to serve as a senior member of its advancement leadership team. Reporting directly to the Vice President for University Advancement, this individual will share responsibility for setting philanthropic goals and priorities that expand MSU Texas's fundraising capacity and long-term impact. The Executive Director will work directly with alumni and friends of the university to build meaningful connections that translate into significant philanthropic commitment.
The ideal candidate is someone who leads through collaboration, thinks strategically about donor engagement, and is motivated by building for lasting impact. In addition to managing an active major gift portfolio, the Executive Director will provide leadership and mentorship to a team of major gifts officers as the division executes an expansion plan currently underway.
