The Opportunity Overview
Georgia State University seeks a strategic, donor-centered Director of Development to drive major gift fundraising for the Health, Education & Policy. Managing a portfolio of 100–120 prospects, the Director will cultivate and secure gifts of $50,000+, conduct 10–15 face-to-face visits monthly and deliver $1–2M+ in annual fundraising.
This is a high-impact opportunity to build lasting relationships with alumni, families, corporations and foundations; translate donor interests into compelling philanthropic opportunities; and partner with academic and advancement leaders to advance University priorities. The ideal candidate brings proven major gift success, strategic relationship building skills, strong communication, integrity and a collaborative, donor-first approach.
