The Opportunity Overview
The University of Washington is seeking a Vice President for University Development to lead one of the nation's most successful fundraising enterprises, overseeing a mature program that generates more than $700 million annually. This senior leader will guide UW's constituency-based development structure and central programs, working within University Advancement—a globally recognized organization that integrates alumni engagement, development, and marketing and communications. Reporting to the Senior Vice President for University Advancement and serving on the Executive Strategy Team, the VP will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction, advancing institutional priorities and guiding the 400+ team of professionals that comprise University Development. The position offers the opportunity to serve as both an enterprise-level thought leader and a champion for the University's vision.
