The Opportunity Overview
The University of San Diego is seeking a dynamic fundraising leader to serve as Senior Director of Development for the Knauss School of Business (KSB). This senior role will lead major gift fundraising for KSB and university-wide priorities, working closely with the Associate Vice President for Development, the Dean, faculty, alumni, and corporate partners.
The Senior Director will manage a portfolio of major gift prospects, develop and implement strategies for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, and secure transformational support for scholarships, faculty chairs, centers, and other strategic initiatives. The role also includes overseeing the development team, managing budgets, tracking goals, and collaborating across university advancement offices to maximize donor engagement and impact.

Per the University of San Diego, the salary range of $140,000 - $150,000 reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
