Hope College is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), a pivotal leader who will guide the College through a period of significant momentum and opportunity. Reporting directly to the President and serving as an officer of the College, the CFO will act as both a strategic partner and chief steward of institutional resources, ensuring financial sustainability while advancing academic excellence, access and impact. As the architect of the College’s long-term financial vision, the CFO will design innovative financial models, advance capital planning and steward endowment resources to strengthen affordability, enhance the student experience and ensure the College’s continued vitality for generations to come.
The ideal candidate is a forward-looking, mission-driven leader who combines strategic insight with operational discipline and a collaborative spirit. They will bring the vision, integrity and expertise to lead a complex enterprise, inspire confidence across the community and contribute meaningfully to the College’s enduring legacy. The ability to work collaboratively with the President’s Cabinet, Board of Trustees and other campus leaders is essential.
