The Opportunity Overview
Belmont University is seeking a Director of Development for the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to serve as a strategic member of the college’s fundraising team, cultivating and stewarding relationships with annual and major donors to fund key initiatives. The Director will work in partnership with the AVP for Development and the Health Sciences program directors to identify funding priorities and craft and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan, leveraging metrics to inform and maximize the effectiveness of the plan.
The ideal candidate brings demonstrated success in major gift fundraising, preferably within higher education, exceptional analytical and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and program areas. The Director must be adaptable and able to both understand complex data and cultivate relationships with a varied group of stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years of experience are required along with a deep commitment to Belmont’s mission and vision.
