The Opportunity Overview

The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a Senior Director for Gift Planning to play a pivotal role responsible for driving strategic initiatives to maximize planned giving fundraising efforts. Reporting to the AVP of Central Development, this position will lead a comprehensive assessment of the university's gift planning operation and implement necessary changes to enhance capacity and effectiveness. The Senior Director will personally manage a portfolio of planned giving prospects, strengthen donor awareness of planned giving opportunities and collaborate with development officers, faculty members and trustees in cultivating relationships that will lead to successful solicitations.

By establishing planned giving as a core competency within the development office and throughout the university community, this role will be instrumental in supporting UTA's long-term goals while providing exceptional gift planning services to both internal and external constituents.
