Dean for Enrollment Management (Vice President)

Wabash College

The Opportunity Overview

Wabash College is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Dean for Enrollment Management (Vice President) to lead the recruitment and financial aid efforts that will shape the future of one of the nation's only all-male liberal arts colleges. Reporting directly to the President and serving on Senior Staff, this leader steps into a role with rare institutional weight — at a college whose alumni network, career outcomes and tradition-rich culture give it a recruiting story few peers can match, and whose distinctive mission asks for a recruiter who can tell that story with conviction.

The Dean will provide strategic leadership across Admissions and Financial Aid, directing a team of eight senior-level professionals, owning the comprehensive recruitment and aid strategies that bring each new class to campus. This is a role built for someone who thinks in both vision and numbers — designing merit and endowed scholarship strategy, optimizing student revenue, diversifying and expanding recruitment pipelines through community partnerships and using data to forecast and shape enrollment in a demanding national market for residential liberal arts education.

The ideal candidate brings significant, progressively responsible leadership experience in admissions and enrollment management, a track record of building and executing recruitment plans that deliver results and the analytical sophistication to navigate financial aid leveraging and enrollment forecasting. They are a confident communicator and relationship-builder, equally effective rallying a team, partnering across Senior Staff and articulating the value of a Wabash education to prospective students, families and counselors — and they bring a genuine commitment to access, student success and a diverse student body.

Its 900 students come from 31 states and 28 countries, governed by the Gentleman's Rule and united by meaningful traditions. With a faculty nationally ranked for accessibility, innovative WabashX programs and a first-destination placement rate north of 95% over the last decade, Wabash delivers exceptional outcomes — graduates earn an average mid-career salary of $155,800, tops in its peer associations. Recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the No. 1 National Liberal Arts College in Indiana and anchored by an endowment of approximately $515 million, Wabash stands today on remarkable institutional strength.
