The Opportunity Overview
Boise State University Foundation is seeking the Associate Vice President for Advancement Services to provide strategic leadership for the Foundation's development and alumni relations infrastructure while serving as a key partner in utilizing data and analytics to drive fundraising success. Reporting to the Foundation CEO, this senior leadership position oversees four essential teams—Advancement Systems & Information Delivery, Gift Handling & Administration, Prospect Development and Stewardship—to create a customer-service oriented and donor-centric advancement operation. The role requires a strategic thinker who can align business support functions, policies and technology infrastructure with the University's priorities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical abilities, strong communication skills and talent for building relationships with internal and external constituents. As the primary system administrator for the Foundation's constituent relationship management system and compliance officer for Foundation policies, the Associate Vice President plays a crucial role in institutionalizing a data-driven decision culture that enhances philanthropic giving to the University and supports Boise State's comprehensive campaign efforts.
