Position Description Summary:
The Director will serve as the primary staff member for all fundraising activity in the Natural Sciences. The Director, in consultation with the Assistant Dean of Development and External Relations, will develop strategic objectives within the priorities of the College of Arts & Sciences (A&S). The Director will work independently to implement and evaluate these efforts.
The Director will work proactively with academic leaders to develop fundraising strategies for alumni and friends. The Director will have responsibility for oversight and management of fundraising programs in the Division of Natural Sciences and will work closely with department chairs and faculty members. The Director will supervise a team of professionals and administrative staff to focus on charitable giving to A&S.
